Soul Food Fantasy: A Taste of Home-Cooked Goodness in Eatonville

This afternoon was my first time at this establishment and it was wonderful! The service was fantastic the cashier knew everything about the menu, there wasn't any kind of urgency to order our food. He answered all the questions we had and even gave suggestions. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. There were a few tables to dine-in if you wanted to. Now the food, I ordered the honey chicken wings with white rice & gravy, collard greens, and yams. This meal was delicious and the portion was even better. The food was very flavorful and tasty. I will definitely be back to try something else. That's all.

I found this place because I was hungry on the way to another restaurant. I am so glad a passed by and made that uturn. I'm a southern girl from Georgia and finding this soul food heaven was a piece of home. I was far from disappointed. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. And they make most of it pretty much fresh to order. I'm sure some things are prepped and made in batches like the greens and rice. I had the honey wings which were good and crispy and not dry. I added hot sauce because I may or may not be addicted to adding it to everything (that's my business though) the collard greens were not too vinegary and not under seasoned. Do I like some ham hock or turkey leg in my greens, yes, but I am not complaining because they were still good. Fried okra was good and crispy and not over cooked. And the dirty rice was flavorful! Now this mango juice, baby don't get that drink if you're a diabetic your sugar going through the roof. Is it good yes indeed but is it sweet? Sweet as hell. Would I get it again yes but smaller size. The young man that took my order was so nice and we cracked jokes and made me feel like an appreciated customer. It gives mom and pop / family owned and I definitely love that. It's not a big place but big enough for you to sit and eat in comfort. I made sure to pin it in my maps so I can go back when I'm on that side of town and tell my friends about it. 10/10 for me, definitely give them a try.

I've been waiting to try this place for two years and it was well worth the wait their MAC & CHEESE omg it was soooooo good!! Like every bite was full of cheese and it was just the honey fried chicken delicious, seasoned so well, and crispyyy. I wanted greens but they were out (which I kind of expected) they're green beans tasted like my mamas I'm not a fan of turkey wings but the meat just fell off the bone the hush puppies were good, I just wish they were bigger. I'd order a whole bag of them if I could. My husband loved the fish and okra. The kool aid was obviously good lol This is their second location, I believe the original was opened in Tampa. The staff was super nice and the inside is so cute. Plenty of places to sit to enjoy their amazing food. I live around the corner so I'll definitely be back!! I'll be buying a side of Mac every week I would definitely recommend!! I'm about to become a regular! Can't wait to go back

So gooood! If you want good home cooking style food, come here. We have ordered several sides, the honey fried chicken, and the fantasy drink. Y'all. Those sides are great! The black eyed peas,ac and cheese, yams. Sheeesssh. The chicken was also flavorful. That fantasy drink. Get it. Take it home and add a little something for an extra punch. Trust me. It's good but make it good good.
